This is Wild! Grant Morrison said the “aliens” he encountered in Nepal told him that humans are not really separate beings at all. We may just be different slices of one much larger entity existing outside space and time.

During a strange 1994 experience in Kathmandu, he claimed to have encountered silver, morphing beings similar to the entities Terence McKenna had described.

McKenna famously called them “self-transforming machine elves.” He claimed that when he took DMT, these entities could somehow use a kind of visible language. Instead of simply speaking words, they appeared to “sing” incredibly complex objects into existence, then showed those objects to him as if they were demonstrating something.

Morrison openly admitted he had been smoking hash, but said this felt completely different. He claimed he suddenly found himself outside his body, and when the beings asked where he wanted to go, he chose Alpha Centauri.

He said they then showed him what he understood as a fifth-dimensional reality outside normal space and time.

According to Morrison, the beings told him that the person you experience right now is not the complete “you.” Your entire life, from birth to death, may actually form one much larger structure stretched through time, while each moment you experience is only a tiny cross-section of it.

The idea is like pushing a hand through a flat 2D world. The beings living there might see several separate circles, not realizing they are all parts of the same hand.

Morrison said the same thing may be happening with us: we appear separate, but from a higher-dimensional perspective we may all be intersections of something much larger.

He said they told him time exists because higher-dimensional beings need somewhere to grow.

So he meant to say humanity may not even be fully “born” yet.

What if Morrison and McKenna weren’t just hallucinating, but somehow encountering the same kind of intelligence through two completely different altered states?

And if they were… what exactly were they seeing?

In 2004, photographs from Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq became public.

American soldiers had been systematically abusing, humiliating, and torturing Iraqi detainees.

The photographs showed prisoners in stress positions, on leashes, in forced sexual poses, with injuries. Some detainees had died in custody.

The American response, at the official level, was to prosecute a handful of low-ranking soldiers.

The architects of the policy, the lawyers who wrote the "torture memos" defining waterboarding and stress positions as legally permissible, the officials who approved "enhanced interrogation" as official doctrine, and the senior military commanders who oversaw facilities where these practices were standard, faced no criminal accountability.

John Yoo, who wrote the memo legally authorizing torture, is a tenured professor at UC Berkeley School of Law.

He teaches law.

At Berkeley.

Jay Bybee, who co-authored the torture memos, was appointed to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, where he served as a federal judge.

He judged people.

For crimes.

Think about the message that sends.

Not to Americans, who largely moved on within a news cycle.

To the people in the region.

To the Iraqis who were in that prison.

To the Arab and Muslim world watching a country that had invaded their region on false pretenses, occupied and destabilized it, and then when photographs of systematic torture emerged, promoted the people responsible and prosecuted the people who took the photographs.

Chelsea Manning, who leaked evidence of war crimes including the killing of civilians and journalists, went to prison.

The people who exposed the crimes were punished.

The people who enabled the crimes were promoted.

This is not a system that malfunctioned.

This is a system that functioned exactly as designed.

Not all rescues are fake. Not all Nepalese lack integrity.

Recent news about fake rescues in Nepal is very sad. It has given a bad name to our country’s reputation and hurt our economy. Those responsible must be punished.

But please know — not all of us are like that.

I have never, ever done a fake rescue. Not once. To this day.

I have personally conducted more than a dozen real rescues — 95% of them for other outfitters. I have never charged a single penny for any rescue I have carried out.

After Jim Morrison’s wife passed away on Manaslu, we stepped in to help her family. Other helicopter companies were planning to raise prices. I warned them. We made sure everything was done at the lowest cost possible. @eliteexped charged nothing for all the manpower and service provided. Zero.

Then the rescue of Mr. Chin on Annapurna — no fee. Captain Dipendra from 8,700m on Everest’s South Summit- no fees , Kuntal: the list goes on. Not a single penny charged from my side .

I have convinced many of our clients to walk down from high camps — even when tired, out of gas, or wanting a helicopter. I encouraged them to walk back to Base Camp.

Because I believe: a summit is from Base Camp to the top and back down to Base Camp. That’s it.

If you run a marathon and jump in a vehicle, you haven’t finished. Same on a mountain.

That’s why I recorded this video — convincing my clients to walk down. I had many opportunities to make money. But money means nothing when it comes to my integrity and humanity. I have more videos like this. Because I knew one day I would need the evidence.

Nepal is still a beautiful country. So many of our people have big hearts and are kind. Please don’t look only at this one sad chapter.

To those who gave our country a bad name — you must be held accountable.

But to the world: not all Nepalese are like that.
