Generic drug manufacturers might make a $1 for a 30 day supply of rosuvastatin. These haven’t been a money maker for pharma in a long time. Most are coerced by PBMs to supply them at basically no margin and have to comply.
This is driving me crazy. “Big Pharma” really refers to innovator, branded cos. The meds referenced here are mostly supplied by generics which are largely commoditized with low barriers to entry and corresponding low prices and low margins.
@ReneSellmann What do you think the real most is? An n of 1, but a restaurant I go to every day has changed their POS every 6 months because a rep comes in and offers to buy our their contract, give them 6 months free, and waive implementation. So the owner just keeps switching.
@dieworkwear I’m in Sweden twice a year for the last 17 years and, yes, they think it’s unique and special. There is a strong in-group bias in a lot of cultures.
