Children were sent to school as usual now they are trapped at different spots. Does the weather department have no clue?
Can @mybmc and @MumbaiPolice arrange to help them come home?
VERY IMPORTANT: Justice Madhav Jamdar of the Bombay High Court: “What is this? Are all citizens being made slaves of the Indian government… Can they not stage protests or agitate? What is all this?”. Rejects externment for raising anti govt slogans.
That what should have been a routine judicial affirmation of the constitutional right to protest now feels extraordinary says much about the times we live in. When dissent is criminalised and increasingly treated as a law-and-order problem rather than a democratic right, such reminders from the judiciary matter. Take a bow, Justice Jamdar. 👏👏

This is a slap on the face of all those protesting against the govt. A direct message that you are cockroaches and you don't matter. Stay busy working, shopping, watching cricket, TV, movies and if you dare to speak against govt you will be smashed with a 🥾 #viksitbharat#bjp

A community dog was mercilessly beaten, leaving countless animal lovers heartbroken and outraged. 💔
No innocent animal deserves such cruelty. Those entrusted with serving the public should set an example of compassion, responsibility, and respect for all living beings not violence.
We urge the concerned authorities to take strict and appropriate action, including removing the individual from public service. Acts of brutality against voiceless animals cannot be ignored or normalized.
These community dogs cannot speak for themselves. It is our duty to stand up for them and ensure justice is served.
Kindness is the true measure of humanity. Let us raise our voices for those who have none.

Sr Adv Prashant Bhushan @pbhushan1: sterilisation has shown real results in Jaipur and Goa. Failures elsewhere are due to weak accountability and patchy implementation. He proposed a public platform for citizens to report unsterilised dogs.

@airindia You Kathmandu Airport is not allowing Aloka The Peace Dog to fly to India why? Previously on 8th June Aloka flew Air India from Bangkok to New Delhi then there was no issue!
No funds to sterlize or vaccinate. But enough to build shelters? Municipal bodies will swallow up the money again like they did before.
Oh and ....
No funds to house ophans.
One of the biggest misconceptions about the Supreme Court's 19 May 2026 order in In Re: City Hounded by Strays, Kids Pay Price is that it authorises immediate mass removal of dogs from public spaces.
It does not.
@narendramodi Aren't you saddened by the passing away of students and lives of common people because of government negligence and incompetence? You only care about actors and politicians but not common people. Sack @dpradhanbjp
Thank you sir!! your voice is most impactful today - and I hope the hon justices in the supreme court hear it and take it to heart
please intervene in the stray dog matter. It is leading to so much pain , torture and suffering for the animals and feeders
