New to #ubiquitin? Been with it for a while? Either way this review may be for you 🤩:
Excited to share our review article in @MolecularCell , diving deep into everything #ubiquitin

Preprint alert 📢
Excited to share my co-first author preprint describing a collaborative work to identify a new role for USP37 in antagonizing replisome disassembly!
Kudos to my amazing co-first authors Derek Bolhuis and @DaliaFleifel, co-authors Xianxi and Brandon, as well as co-corresponding authors @dnatarheel, Nick Brown and @memanuele123
Happy to share our newest preprint: we identified the DUB USP37 as a regulator of DNA replication, by preventing ubiquitin-mediated replisome disassembly. This establishes USP37 as critical for the maintenance of replisome during S-phase. Check it out!
Bittersweet day of goodbyes! First to rock-star graduate student @rmouery1995, who is leaving for his postdoc. Second to summer student @Helenlarkin04, who will return to Clemson. Celebrated, of course, with cake and friends @jmgonzdalm@aponteamy@thomas_bonacci
I am honored and excited to join UNC Lineberger and UNC health, to make an impact across the Triangle and state of NC, reducing the burden of cancer and advancing research and cancer treatment! Amazing team and strong legacy of directors Earp, Sharpless and Pagano.
I'm ecstatic to share our newest preprint: we report on the identification of new functional surfaces that explain the specificity of USP18 towards ISG15. Check it out if you like DUBs, biochemistry and AlphaFold :-)
Have you registered for our Ubiquitin and Ub-like Proteins conference yet? Register on or before April 28 and save $150 on registration! Join organizers @kyliejwalters, @LabJoazeiro, and Yue Xiong, PhD, in Niagara. #UBPSRC

The mentoring skills of @Cole_Martin_00 cannot be eclipsed. This PhD Candidate in @UNC_PHCO is receiving today's shoutout for his ability to help mentees feel like they're active contributors to research.
Jonathan Levin, a distinguished economist and Stanford alumnus who has led the Stanford Graduate School of Business as dean for the last eight years, has been appointed the next president of Stanford University, the Board of Trustees announced today. https://t.co/5WExsT8cWh
Susumu Tonegawa’s Nobel lecture from 1987 about the genetic basis of antibody diversity is a great example of technology driving discovery. Each new molecular biology advance - cloning, Southern blots, sequencing - enabled the next discovery. https://t.co/JSwjxEF4MS
