@ycombinator@cladlabs We applied to YC twice and weren't let in. After seeing this video I now understand why
Just went to the store and bought a carton of cigarettes. See you soon YC!
ok guys, was locked in
we are writing release notes for 1.0.0-beta.2, which is basically pre launch beta version
alternation-engine and all branches are going into beta
Extremely cringe that Langfuse puts up a big banner on their docs pages that they're hiring
"Why not come work for us instead of the company that's actively paying us & you to use our tool"
Never saw such a strong reason to abandon this ship
I wouldn't say that at all, Langfuse is probably a great place to work at and so are we i think. They'd probably fit right in. I'd be amped for them too
Which makes it even worse because 100s of startups like mine are now being shoved this down their throats & a couple of them will probably be directly damaged by it
Exactly my point - You're a company
There are 1000 things a company like yours can do to recruit good talent
the VERY LAST one is to poach them from your customers
I wonder if engineering leadership at @khanacademy@Samsara@magicpatterns@Merck@TELUS@circlebackai@twilio@SumUp are as positive about this as you
@mrthomastaylor It's deplorable behaviour to try and poach employees from your own customers
Your mindset on this will change instantly
1. When you employ people yourself for your small startup
2. When you start seeing this as a YC backed multi million company vs of a "great piece of software"
