@proof_and_co@Jeopardy What is Times New Roman/Bodoni/Helvetica/Courier? I wouldn't have gotten Bodoni in real-time, but the other three I knew by clue and sight.
“Forty years of context may seem like overkill…”
LOL, never too much context @benthompson. Masterful piece on the video game market with broad lessons for business in general.

@CJHandmer Unless the bottle’s mass distribution is grossly different than its geometry then wait long enough and I think the water will collect in the ends because it will damp and perturb things enough for the body to start rotating about a radial axis.
@viticci @ismh Nothing in Memphis or Rome, but this is why we invented airplanes, right? The 10th Anniversary show in 2013 was amazing. https://t.co/fcABqkSLgQ
Often asked about environmental impact of launches. Tim @Erdayastronaut did a great video on emissions. You might also find this interesting: #GPS alone has a net impact of reducing fossil fuel consumption by around 460M gallons each day, while feeding 800M people…
@torybruno My thumb rule: a manager doesn't have to be able to do each job better than your team members can; but you should be able to do it well enough to ask intelligent questions and provide useful suggestions for *all* the tech people you manage, otherwise you're just Dilbert's boss.
@JeffGreason@SciGuySpace@interplanetary@StephenFleming @ThoreauAway2020 @nyrath@physorg_com The conspiracy theorist in me thinks NASA doesn’t want to look for the answer because if the finding is the Moon and Mars are gravitationally useless from a health perspective then the last 40 years will have been an unequivocally tragic waste of time and resources. Embarrassing.
@bencasselman@Noahpinion Let's say you are a Moon base, 100% dependent upon imports from Earth.
Per-capita consumption is $420 million, imports are $420 million, GDP is $0.
Would you say the Lunar economy is great but "the trade deficit detracted from GDP"
Or does the Moon not have an economy at all?
🎙 I had a great conversation with Brent Sherwood, SVP of Advanced Development Programs for @blueorigin, all about @OrbitalReef. We talk about its (surprisingly long) history, technical details, how the partnership works, and the business side. Listen in:
