@JJitsev@KordingLab We invented this task to satisfy many constraints: feasible in monkeys, partial observability, continuous control, naturalistic, relevant for collaborator-recorded brain areas. Monkeys learn it quickly. My kids catch fireflies outside. But we can't do everything!

This achievement, led by Patrick Kaifosh and @TRReardon, is the result of the scientific and engineering efforts of hundreds of people and has been documented in a scientific journal preprint (link below).
