Happy to share SHARC, a method for rapid identification of tumor-specific genomic structural variants using low-pass @nanopore sequencing https://t.co/QgWyrCLpXP @Jaesvi42 @Ch_Stangl @MartijnLolkema
Happy to share our latest work: CyclomicsSeq!
Great collaboration between groups in the UMC Utrecht including @UMCUgenetica @UMCU_CMM @oncodeinstitute and off course @cyclomics.
Rapid identification of the partner gene of fusions helps improve diagnosis, prognosis and offers opportunities for treatment. The exact GENOMIC breakpoint can be used as a marker that allows diagnostic labs to design patient-specific assays for minimal residual disease tracing!!
FUDGE is out! Happy that our assay for rapid fusion gene detection using @nanopore sequencing got published today @NatureComms
Thanks to @gmonroe3@GijsvanHaaften@WigardK@anton_gh @Jaesvi42 and EVERYONE else, it was fun working with you!

Excited to share our preprint on #CRISPR-Cas9 activity and long reads! We developed protocols for @PacBio and @nanopore off-target sequencing (SMRT-OTS & Nano-OTS) and found unexpected Cas9 cleavage. A lot of work went into this, by @idaista and others

Read Until to enrich >700 genes to mean 30x coverage on @nanopore single flowcell. Custom panels (up to 25,600 targets so far) as easy as providing a coordinate file. Read more at https://t.co/aZVOs23PKg - thanks to @alexomics, @Rorymatics and @DeepSeqNotts team.
From the microbes of Iceland’s polar icecaps, to meningitis ID in Vietnam. From rapid cancer characterisation to food safety. From 1000s of human genomes, to the tallest trees in the world – we'd like to share our 19 highlights of 2019: https://t.co/9tFaJ9UuWk
Our new work identifying a gene expression signature to predict proteasome inhibitor benefit in Multiple Myeloma (validated in independent data!) is now online at medRxiv! @jeroen_deridder @UMCU_CMM @oncodeinstitute@skylinedx https://t.co/MZxvDigfI1
Very happy to share our latest work @medrxivpreprint in which we studied the capacity of ovarian cancer #organoids to predict patients’ chemotherapy response and functional consequences of tumor heterogeneity @UMCU_CMM @_Hubrecht
https://t.co/DsRUTdmzDZ
Patient-derived ovarian cancer organoids mimic clinical response and exhibit heterogeneous inter- and intrapatient drug responses https://t.co/cz75ayzua8 #medRxiv
