Our Annual Adolescent girls Art Festival Event brought together over 30 adolescents in Manyatta community.The Girl led dialogue was interesting and intriguing and the girls got the opportunity to learn about what is under their Sexual Reproductive Health umbrella.
In today's community dialogue at Umer dispensary-Ugenya sub-county led by Siaya county Reproductive Health Co-ordinator, we sensitized men on the importance of supporting their wives through pregnancy, healthy diet, post partum and ANC with good feedback from both the men and young mothers present, a testament to the need for more male engagement for improvement of the MNCH indicators.

As we finalize our week long dialogues on male engagement, the session in Ukwala-Ugenya sub-county targeting boda boda delved into the family planning methods, demystifying the common myths and misconceptions and encouraging men to be part of the pre-conception journey and supporting their wives throughout the pre, during and post conception phased for better health, mental and family well being.
