one of the hardest things after building a product:
getting the first 5 companies to actually use it.
not 100 leads.
not 10,000 signups.
5 companies willing to build with you, give real feedback, and eventually pay.
we’re doing a hands-on session on exactly this on Sep 10.

Alr, last post before I pass out
(didn’t sleep last night)
if you think you can help me out, say "Hi"
if not, say hi anyway.☺️ Apparently that’s called "networking"
@Digital__Mayhem@turo Yeah I’d be annoyed too $180 turning into $70 somewhere along the way is wild asf😭
platform math always finds a way to humble you💀💀💀
Now imagine this with 30 cars, 12 drivers, and a spreadsheet called FINAL_v9.
Running a rental fleet? Tell us what keeps getting left behind:

@TysBurnerAcc Did you ever get insurance quotes for those three Toyotas? If you don't mind, What monthly cost would leave you enough room to make it worthwhile?
@Abomination81 Makes sense at that scale. Most people running 1–20 cars can’t really self-insure though, so they’re stuck trying to find actual commercial coverage that fits.
A lot of people leave Turo wanting to take direct rentals,
then hit the same wall:
Finding commercial insurance that actually fits how a small fleet operates.
Quote prep takes forever,
the paperwork feels endless,
and the coverage options don’t always match real rental use.
Has that been the part that slowed you down the most?
