ML have the most well curated audio datasets. I would recommend the ESC-50 for a well curated dataset of environmental sounds. (only 48khz )
@tcarpenter216 My hypothesis is that Traditional math degrees are taught to be as obtuse as possible. The idea being that intuition is fallible and so you must rely on proofs and logic for everything.

@KordingLab but seriously, look to industry, there are entire industries ( Scrum, PMP) devoted to how to plan large projects, quickly, effectively and robustly. Happy to chat more anytime about where to look.

2x speed on youtube once sounded incomprehensible but now feels slow to me. Perhaps congenitally blind people are simply ahead of the game as they have more experience with ultrafast speech from using screen readers
