@mrsrobersonmed My fears were how it would be accepted. The unknown for teachers and students can be stressful at times. My biggest surprise was how smooth transitions within instruction came after applying a flipped classroom #wuedt6020
@DHS_CoachClark I'm with you there! I always felt like there was no way I could incorporate tech into PE but once I dove in I found a few resources that are working rather well. #wuedt6020
@AlexTrace27 I 100% believe EdTech lessons are more time consuming which is my biggest hold up in utilizing them more. I feel this is where PD sessions can help shorten the learning curve. #wuedt6020
@mrsyoungchs While its nice being 1:1 I don't believe cell phones need to be used in school. We've adopted a no phone policy in our PE classes to promote social interaction within the class which is something that has been lacking in previous years. #wuedt6020
@MichelleDech3 The biggest roadblock I have faced is the time commitment to learning how to efficiently use some of the EdTech. With dwindling planning time and responsibilities outside of the school day I simply can't invest what is truly needed time wise #wuedt6020
@MrKppnhvr This question hits home! For me it has been a combo accountability for students and not being in school. More time spent being mask police than teaching content. Feels at times we are playing lets make a deal more than providing guidance #wuedt6020
@BlakeMusicTeach I feel like our district had good ideas early during PD sessions where we as teachers were able to chose an area to explore and dive into. Recently we are just being force fed information which is overwhelming at times. Speaks to the power of choice #wuedt6020
@EdTechMilkshake I believe there is too much, sometimes it feels like EdTech is being forced on teachers and students. IMO the goal should be to find the sweet spot where there is a combo. As with most things in life the key is to find balance #wuedt6020
@klineawilmu@EdTechLaura What a great way to describe it! As with most things in life we probably shouldn't look at it as this or that. A better approach may be to view it as this and that. #wuedt6020
@EdTechLaura I believe the pandemic sped up the integration of ed tech from both the teacher and student perspective. Prior to I personally rarely used any but was then forced to while remote. It created an environment in which teachers and students learned together. #wuedt6020
@EdTechLaura@McCoolWILMu I am interested in implementing going forward would be the flipped classroom and gamification. I really feel as gamification can spark some more energy and fun to the "boring" topics. Flipping the classroom can allow students to digest information at their own pace #wuedt6020
@MrKppnhvr@MichelleDech3@EdTechLaura@McCoolWILMu@MrKppnhvr I love the idea of not having to lecture information. One piece of that I've been thinking about is the consistent delivery of information to students. For me personally by the end of the day I'm fried so I'm sure I miss something with that last class. #wuedt6020
