The rally was also organised in strong protest against the failure of the authorities to identify and bring to justice the perpetrators involved in the brutal killing of three Kuki-Zo church leaders.

Thousands of Kuki-Zo people participated in a massive rally in Kangpokpi, Manipur, on Friday under the banner of Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM), demanding justice for three slain church leaders, the immediate release of 14 Kuki-Zo hostages, and an expedited political solution to the ongoing crisis in the state.
The rally, attended by civil society leaders, church members, youth and elders, saw participants raise slogans calling for justice, security and equal protection under the Constitution.
A delegation later submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi through the Deputy Commissioner, urging the Centre to ensure the safe release of the hostages, arrest those responsible for the killing of the church leaders, strengthen security in Kuki-Zo areas and accelerate political dialogue for a lasting solution.
KIM alleged continued government inaction and selective justice, warning that delays in addressing the issues could further deepen instability and mistrust.
The rally concluded peacefully, with participants reaffirming their commitment to democratic and constitutional means of seeking justice.

Kharam Vaiphei Village, a peace-loving community that supplied fresh vegetables to Singda Kadangband during the COVID-19 pandemic, is now under attack. Homes have been burned. It is heartbreaking when acts of kindness and peace are repaid with violence. #Manipur
The TRUTH REVEAL by a FB user
Kasingthuan Panmei.
Now He’s claiming responsibility for the Killing of Three Thadou KUKI PASTORS. @NIA_India@YKhemchandSingh@manipur_police@CBIHeadquarters The departed noble souls deserve JUSTICE. Justice delayed is Justice denied.
Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) strongly condemns the burning of Kharam Vaiphei village allegedly perpetrated by the ZUF Kamson group and other armed elements operating in the region. Such barbaric and provocative acts against innocent civilians and ancestral villages are deeply unacceptable and threaten peace, coexistence, and stability in the region.
At a time when restraint and peace are most needed, innocent Kuki-Zo civilians are once again facing violence, displacement, fear, and destruction of homes and properties. The KukiCommunity has repeatedly exercised patience despite continued provocations, attacks, intimidation, and threats against our ancestral lands and villages. However, the continuous targeting of Kuki villages and civilians cannot and will not be tolerated indefinitely.
The KukiCommunity also raises serious concern over allegations that armed groups linked to NSCN-IM, ZUF Kamson group, Liangmai volunteers, Arambai Tenggol, and Myanmar-based Meitei militants openly operated during the burning of Kharam Vaiphei village while innocent civilians fled for survival. Local civilians have alleged that video evidence from the ground raises disturbing questions regarding the role and conduct of security authorities during the incident. Such allegations require immediate and impartial investigation by high authorities.
The Kuki-Zo people make it absolutely clear that we will never compromise when it comes to safeguarding our ancestral lands, protecting innocent civilians, and defending the dignity, safety, and future of our community. Continued violence, intimidation, and destruction of Kuki villages only deepen anger, mistrust, and instability across the region.
Kuki Inpi Manipur urgently appeals to the Government of India, security agencies, judiciary, NIA, and all responsible authorities to immediately intervene, identify every perpetrator involved in the attack, rescue missing civilians, and take strict legal action against all armed groups and individuals responsible for violence against innocent people. Failure to act decisively will only encourage more lawlessness and further destabilize the situation.
The KukiCommunity remains committed to peace, coexistence, constitutional rights, and justice. But if our villages continue to burn while innocent civilians suffer endlessly and authorities remain silent, the Kuki people will not remain mute spectators forever. Justice, accountability, and protection of innocent civilians must come immediately.

@shimray2011 One of the ground rules of the ceasefire signed by NSCN-IM explicitly bans attacks, ambush, intimidation, and extortion. Has that ever actually been followed?
Dear Friends,
The crisis in Manipur has reached a point where the fractured NSCN(IM) is now trying its best to unite all Nagas to achieve its goal of Nagalim. The Naga cause will soon become the reason for crisis in all neighboring states of Manipur.
What is Nagalim? Is it only restricted to the state of Nagaland, or is this crisis spreading to other states as well?
Is Arunachal Pradesh already affected by the presence of NSCN(IM)? The NSCN camps in Namdapha RF, forced conversion of local tribes especially Tangsas, extortion demands, killing of election candidates, support to the Tani Group, and recruitment from almost all parts of Arunachal Pradesh are a few examples of how NSCN(IM) is expanding its roots deep inside the heart of Arunachal Pradesh.
Except for Nagaland, the crisis is now swelling in almost all neighboring states. The killing of three NSCN cadres by Assam Police is one example of how NSCN(IM) is creating new breeding grounds.
The crisis in Manipur is being forced upon other Naga tribe locals through mass misinformation, killings on highways, abduction, forced recruitment, and now NVGs.
Very soon, the crisis will be at everyone's doorstep — at the doorstep of all those living in areas that NSCN(IM) is trying to annex under NAGALIM. The youth who are training today as village volunteers will fight against everyone, including liberal and intellectual Tangkhuls. Next will be Meiteis, next will be Mizos, next will be Assam, next will be Anjaw District in Arunachal.
Are we ready to allow such a corrupt, anti-national organisation to flourish and do whatever it wants? An organisation that has joined hands with Pakistan, China, Turkey, and all other nations that want India to be destroyed.
Are the leaders of all Northeast States of India quiet because it is not their crisis, or because of fear of being killed, or because corruption creates easy money opportunities? The answer can be many, but the end result is the same: "Chaos."
Today, cities like Dimapur, Dibrugarh, Itanagar, Aizawl, Guwahati, Anini, Jorhat, etc., are flourishing. But what will be the future if we allow NSCN/GPRN its arbitrariness?
Look at this map deeply. Is your family affected? Is your children's future at risk? Is this "growing leech" ready to suck the blood of your tribe, destroy your culture, marry your daughters to change demography, and demand your hard-earned money as tax or extortion? If yes, then now is the time to rise and destroy the enemy.
Meiteis won't understand now as they are clouded by the crisis against Kukis. But very soon, Meiteis will be in crisis with Tangkhul Nagas of NSCN(IM), who, in the name of Nagalim, will claim their land and try to evict Meiteis from Manipur or ask them to surrender and accept governance and restrictions under NSCN.
Today, Tangkhuls are raising an army of unemployed youth from all over. These proxies will soon claim every inch of Manipur, Assam, Nagaland, and Arunachal Pradesh.
A leech can never be a pet or be pampered; it will always suck blood. Either the public can stop this growing leech now, or be ready for crisis at their doorstep and for giving their children for NVG to protect the Nagalim cause.
