Sad update: The Senate Finance proposal extends massive new solar/wind subsidies through at least end of 2030, some of which will continue through 2040.
@realDonaldTrump ran on "Terminate the Green New Scam," current proposal will keep wind subsidies through his 94th birthday.
The above is a best-case scenario. The more likely scenario is the subsidies continue forever because their expiration has been delayed until after the Trump administration.
Nothing is set in stone yet, there's still time for Congress to do the right thing. Tell your Senator!
(For anyone who wants to understand my math, read the post below. The Senate Finance proposal drops the House's real "placed in service" termination for solar/wind subsidies with a fake "construction begins" deadline of 2025-2027, which really means 2029-2031.)
