The planet is not warming by accident.
Floods, droughts, fires, and storms all have a cause and it is not โjust nature.โ
Fossil fuel corporations have known the damage for decades. They chose profit over people.
Africa contributed the least to this crisis, yet we suffer some of the worst impacts.
This is climate injustice.
We are told it affects everyone equally, but it doesnโt. Those least responsible are paying the highest price.
Our rivers are not oil fields. Our land is not a sacrifice zone. Our future is not for sale.
Make polluters pay.
End fossil fuel expansion.
Fund a just transition.
The era of silence is over.

UGANET in the Field
Iganga, Uganda โ Last week, UGANET conducted a community engagement on the integration of HIV services in Nakalama Sub-county, bringing together community members and stakeholders to discuss the progress, opportunities, and challenges surrounding integrated service delivery.
The engagement provided an important platform for community members to share their experiences and identify barriers affecting access to quality health services.
A key issue raised was the challenge faced by Nakalama Health Centre III in implementing integrated service delivery. Participants reported that the facility is operating with limited staffing, inadequate infrastructure, and insufficient information on service integration among both health workers and community members.
These challenges continue to affect the efficiency of service delivery and highlight the need for increased investment in health systems strengthening, capacity building for health workers, and community awareness on integrated healthcare services.
UGANET remains committed to amplifying community voices and working with partners to promote equitable, accessible, and people-centered health services for all.

Masindi, Uganda โ Last week, UGANET conducted a Mobile Legal Aid Camp across Kijunjubwa and Nyangaya sub-counties, aimed at expanding access to justice and legal information for vulnerable communities.
The team carried out community legal awareness sessions on human rights, womenโs property rights, the rights of people living with HIV, and succession laws, with strong participation from local residents.
It was observed that inheritance and land disputes remain widespread in the district, with women and girls often sidelined in the distribution of family property and estates, highlighting persistent inequalities in access to justice.
The outreach reached over 200 community members and supported 18 clients, with additional legal aid provided to women and PLHIV at Masindi Hospital and Kijunjubwa Health Centre III.
The activity was supported by community paralegals, District Human Rights Committee members, district leaders, and the Police, strengthening community understanding of rights and available referral pathways for justice services.
