Alignment tax is the bane of enterprise existence. But AI is bringing a glimmer of hope.
I talked to a VP today who was trying to desperately prove another team is stepping into his project realm.
My advice to him:
AI doesn’t care about your colleagues’ title or narrative (or yours, for that matter). with the right MCPs and accesses, it will plow through the evidence and give you a objective consensus answer without you or hefty consultants wasting time.
Asking “is anyone else building this project?” yields a definitive artifact. Your peers might still fight for their empire, but they can no longer deny the data.
Every once in a while, while reading a physical book, I have the urge to highlight using the same familiar UX as on my Kindle.
"The things we regret aren’t the TV shows we missed or the extra day at the beach we skipped. We regret the book we never wrote, the instrument we never learned, the health issue we never addressed. We miss not taking the time to fix our teeth or our messed-up knee or running a marathon."

one of the most useful ways to reduce the "I'll do it later symptom" when activating users in big organizations around AI is using deep links in Slack-

@daltonc The exact halfway point of 2026 is July 2 at 12:00 PM, so we still have a little more than half a day before the year is officially half over, plan accordingly ;)
Another small example of why @ycombinator is forever-
Just received (by surprise) and consumed cover-to-cover "Life at the Speed of Play" by @markpinc this weekend. It brought me back to the days of building @houseparty during COVID, where users were obsessed, and growth was unstoppable.
Today @MiroHQ launched Miro Insights [beta](@cardinalappio) and a bunch of Innovation Workspace enhancements and i couldn't be more excited about it 🥳
If you're too lazy for a quick half-hour chat, here's a breakdown 🧵
Starting with Miro Insights: a dedicated product using AI to find product insights across various customer feedback sources and systems of record.
(@garrytan WDYT on our Lightcone style? 😎)
Hey y’all, we’re (Miro) in downtown Austin and thought maybe can help some of you with a place to stay and recharge.
I’ve put this together, fill it out if interested so we can prepare accordingly
