MIDNIGHT CONFESSIONS invites listeners into a world where every heartbeat tells a story, every memory shines like moonlight, & every confession reveals a piece of the soul.
A romantic and unforgettable anthem about the words left unsaid, the feelings that never fade, @MamiinUoH
A heartfelt and soul-stirring journey through love, heartbreak, & the memories that never fade.
"STILL IN MY SOUL" tells the story of emotions that remain long after the night is gone—the lingering touch of love, the silence left by loss. @MamiinUoH
Israel–Somaliland relations will shape the Red Sea/ Gulf Of Aden far more than another AU or Arab League statement ever will.
The AU echoing Djibouti and the Arab League echoing Egypt isn’t a regional consensus—it’s foreign policy by proxy.
They seem to forget Somaliland is in Africa and enjoys strong relations with those that matter.
@MarioNawfal just for the record: that’s not the blue is not Somaliland flag. Somaliland is not a separatist project—it reasserted sovereignty within the borders it inherited at independence in 1960. Somaliland Passport is accepted in over 30 nations already depending on visa requirements.
I don’t know what the fuss is about. A Congressional Committee has asked the State Department to explore opportunities for engagement with Somaliland.
As part of that, the State Department:
1. Confirmed that the U.S does not recognise Somaliland, something we already knew.
2. Confirmed that it already engages with Somaliland to an extent through Mogadishu, an arrangement that every Somaliland government has accepted, to our detriment.
3. Confirmed Somaliland’s strategic importance.
4. Confirmed that Somaliland has sought US investment in its mineral resources.
5. Confirmed Berbera’s value as an alternative to congested regional facilities.
6. Confirmed Somaliland as a potential partner on shared security interests.
7. Confirmed that Somaliland does not engage with Somalia, which the State Department views as an obstacle.
The last point is critical. If the US wants to have leverage, its stance on Somaliland will need to evolve.
This report will now be fed-back to the Congressional Committee, and I believe it presents an opportunity for Somaliland to make the case that formal US recognition would serve the strategic, economic, and security interests of both Somaliland and the U.S.
