Interested in making the world a better place with personal opinions that may not matter. My medical degree opened my eyes to how much knowledge I lack.
@JoshRainerGold The denominator is important. Knowing the actual number of applicants rather than % would be helpful. Matriculation would also be good to know.

@5_utr@f2harrell@stephensenn Each company has a "black box" for their NGS assay with no predictive studies. Doesn't this imply that one's company NGS assay is not comparable to another's?
Ask an oncologist which NGS assay is the best. The answers have nothing to do with outcomes (fast TAT, collabs, etc).
@simonmaechling Wouldn't observational studies that influence dietary recommendations benefit from multi verse analysis in a truly Open Science setting?

@Path4People This patient must have a known Dx of CVID. If undiagnosed and with diarrhea, CVID bx's look like celiac, except no plasma cells. Also... better look for Giardia in all cases, but particularly CVID patients.
@Path4People Nipple duct adenoma. In general, be VERY careful calling anything malignant in the nipple. I've seen a mastectomy for an adenoma Dx'd as DCIS. Diagnosing pathologist was adamant that it was DCIS.
@demillz84@efb_1@jsm2334@calleymeans How would you know a vaccine works (efficacy) without running a trial?
If you know the Timberwolves will win the NBA title, why would you bet on the Nuggets?
@rebecca_vo15179@den36418986796@calleymeans What are you saying? They will intentionally expose the control group to a concentrated amount of virus or bacteria?
Did they do that with the COVID vax, or did they allow for environmental exposure?
