Retrospective report on 54 pts with EGFR NSCLC transformed to SCLC shows better outcomes with chemo-immunotherapy over chemo alone. Clinical consideration is that IO and TKI do not partner well - so if TKI is suppressing some disease (including CNS), it would likely need to stop if IO started. This is an area where we need far more studies - and empiric strategies will only take us so far. There likely are some that benefit from IO (maybe bispecifics here) and some that do not and we need to be able to direct our patients to the best strategies but this space is quite poorly understood.

🫁 PD-L1 Negative NSCLC.
In a real-world cohort of 457 patients, nivolumab + ipilimumab + chemotherapy was associated with longer OS than pembrolizumab + chemotherapy in PD-L1 TPS <1% tumors:
• Median OS: 47.4 vs 16.6 months
• HR 0.50 (p=0.007)
No OS difference was observed in PD-L1 TPS ≥1%.

🏥T4, MRF, CRM in rectal cancer for medical oncologists
✅All related but different concepts
➡️T4b but MRF- (e.g. upper third tm)
➡️MRF by MRI, CRM by pathological
➡️MRF- but CRM+ (e.g. technically hard surgery)
PS: prepared by AI. Surgeon, pathologist, radiologist colleagues may correct if wrong

LORIN delivers one of the most impressive neoadjuvant targeted therapy datasets seen in stage III NSCLC.
🔹 pCR: 47%
🔹 MPR: 81%
🔹 R0 resection: 97%
🔹 Overall nodal downstaging: 90%
Perhaps the most striking finding: 72% of cN3 patients converted to pN0 after just 12 weeks of neoadjuvant lorlatinib.

Presented by Dr. Pavlos Msaouel at #ASCO26, a collaborative multi-institutional study identified EGFR as a key therapeutic vulnerability in SMARCB1-deficient renal medullary carcinoma, a rare and highly aggressive kidney cancer.
Panitumumab-based therapy produced a 53.9% response rate, including complete responses, in heavily pretreated patients, supporting a promising new treatment approach for this disease. @PavlosMsaouel #EndCancer
Great presentation by Dr. Pavlos Msaouel. Panitumumab-based EGFR blockade in SMARCB1-deficient renal medullary carcinoma: ORR 53.9% (15.4% CR) and mOS 9.5 mo in heavily pretreated pts, far exceeding historical benchmarks. Wild-type EGFR dependency as a new therapeutic vulnerability in this rare, aggressive disease. #ASCO26 #RCC @OncoAlert@ASCO@OncBrothers
CaboNivo final results in non-clear cell RCC presented by Dr Darren Feldman: ORR 43% in Cohort 1 (papillary, unclassified, tRCC), with a striking 88% ORR in FH-deficient RCC. mPFS 11 mo, mOS 28 mo. No responses in chromophobe RCC. CaboNivo confirmed as a standard 1L option for these rare subtypes. #ASCO26 #RCC @OncoAlert@ASCO@OncBrothers
