The relationship of #Omega3 fatty acids with #Dementia and cognitive decline: (@ADNI3study + prospective cohorts): "Our findings support the hypothesis that the efficacy of omega-3 fatty acid supplementation is dose-dependent. We found that omega-3 fatty acid supplementation was significantly associated with a decreased risk of #Alzheimers, particularly among long-term users. The risk of cognitive decline decreased when the intake of omega-3 fatty acids exceeded 1.0 g/d. For this reason, we propose that 1.0 g/d may be the threshold dosage of omega-3 fatty acids for the prevention of cognitive decline." https://t.co/Zzb1Phf8ns
