This action undermines children's right to education, hinders progress toward Sustainable Development Goal 4, erodes postwar recovery gains, and jeopardizes stability in Tigray and the region.

We urgently call on international partners to provide emergency financial support and exert diplomatic advocacy to ensure the Ethiopian federal government releases Tigray's allocated budget.

🚨 The drone attacks have reportedly started - see the pictures coming from the Enticho area of Tigray central zone. Unless this is stopped before it gets out of control, the humanitarian crisis and the loss of lives is going to be scarily devastating!

I’m heartbroken and disappointed that Abiy’s regime didn’t heed the advise,reportedly given, by the US Dupty Sec of State @DeputySecState and @USAfricaCommand

People who were visiting Tigray are now stranded in Tigray due to @flyethiopian cancelling flights to all airports in Tigray. The sad news is that the airline is selling tickets that wouldn’t honor to its customers- not surprising since same airline is used to transport Ethiopian military personnel and equipment.

Banks are also cash dry which created economic anxiety in the region.
