Cool release from @p0. I think this use-case (agents paying content creators for access via @mpp) will be very big. Micropayment walls haven't worked (as Clay Shirky anticipated many years ago) because of human cognitive overhead, but agents can make arbitrarily granular determinations without decision fatigue.
Parallel is built for a world where agents are the primary users of the web. Agents can now autonomously pay per API call for web access via Parallel using MPP. https://t.co/nSuEBQznbU
This week, we officially welcome Liam Mulcahy and Graham Moreno to lead and scale GTM at Parallel.
Liam joins us from @kleinerperkins, where he helped kick-start GTM operations in early-stage companies like @tryprofound, @harvey, @glean, @windsurf, and most recently, Parallel.
Graham previously led world-class sales organizations at @windsurf /@cognition, @grafana, and @MongoDB, where he and Liam were colleagues.
Want to work with them? Join us https://t.co/F0bXh6WqrI
Today, @tryprofound is excited to announce our $96M Series C at a $1B valuation, led by @lightspeedvp with participation from @sequoia, @kleinerperkins, @mattevantic, @saga_ventures and @southpkcommons.
When we started Profound 18 months ago, we had two fundamental beliefs about where marketing is heading:
1. Every company will care deeply about how AI talks about their brand.
2. Every marketer will use AI Agents to do their best work, faster.
Those beliefs are becoming reality faster than we imagined.
Now, we serve more than 10% of the Fortune 500 and are the number 1 leader on the G2 grid for AEO.
To double down on that momentum, weβre taking two big swings:
π£πΏπΌπ³πΌππ»π± ππ΄π²π»ππ: AI workers that take marketing teams from concept to execution.
π£πΏπΌπ³πΌππ»π± π¨π»πΆππ²πΏππΆππ: certifications and cohort-based learning for marketers who want stay at the forefront of AI marketing.
Reply with ππππ‘π§ for free access to one of our most popular agents. No account required and no strings attached.
βDo we really need someone with a sales background to sell? Canβt we just hire a smart person from consulting or banking? How hard could it be?β
βWell, do we really need more engineers to build the product? Isnβt Claude / Cursor doing most of the work anyway?β
π
I donβt agree we either statement, but hear the first one a lot.
Engineering is a craft. Sales is a craft.
Donβt make simple things hard, recruit people who are great at their craft.
@khushkhushkhush@kleinerperkins This is a totally non-Cheugy VC event. Its giving AMA vibes, focusing on actionable GTM approaches and no sus theoretical pontificating. You'll be glad you told all your friends and went together. Bet.
